Skin tag removal at home is much simpler than it sounds, provided you know how to go about it properly. Here are some of the best removal methods that are both painless and inexpensive.

Let’s start with…

Over the Counter Skin Tag Removal Products

I’m sure you’ve seen wart remover products at your neighborhood grocery store or pharmacy, but did you know that there are similar products made to remove skin tags?

The two most effective skin tag remover products on the market appear to be Dermatend and Naturasil for Skin Tags.

One reason these products seem to be so effective is that their made with natural ingredients, which means they’re more gentle on the skin.

Other removal products, including over the counter wart removers, contain freezing agents or other harsh chemicals that can burn, scar or otherwise irritate the skin.

Natural Remedies for Home Skin Tag Removal

Like I said before, natural substances, including vitamins and herbs, are one of the best ways to get rid of skin tags.

Granted, you may not see results as fast as you would by using a removal product, but with a little patience, you should be skin tag free within four to six weeks.

Here are seven natural remedies used for home removal of skin tags. You can find all of these items at just about any health food or supplement store:

Tea Tree Oil – Apply several drops of tea tree oil onto a cotton ball or swab, and then rub the oil onto your tags. Do this at least 2-3 times per day until the growth is gone.

Bloodroot – Apply bloodroot extract directly onto your tag. Bloodroot is also available in salve form, in which case you can apply some directly to your skin and cover it with a bandage or gauze. Leave the area covered for several hours. Apply the herb 2-3 times per day until the growth is gone.

Castor Oil – Rub a liberal amount of castor oil directly onto your tag(s) using a cotton ball or swab. Alternatively, you can mix the oil with baking soda to form a paste. Apply the mixture to the area and then cover with a bandage or gauze. Keep the area covered for several hours. Repeat this process 2-3 times daily until the growth is gone.

Vitamin E – Apply vitamin E oil to some gauze, and then secure it to your tag(s) with medical tape or an adhesive bandage. Keep the gauze in place for several hours. Do this 2-3 times a day until the growth is gone.

Apple Cider Vinegar – Rub the vinegar on your tags for a minute or two using a cotton ball or swab. Repeat this process 2-3 times daily until the growth is gone.
